IT turned out to be an excellent weekend for Ruthin Rugby Club.
In Division One (North), the Blues dented Pwllheli's title aims via a thrilling 20-18 win.
Meanwhile, in Division Three (North), Ruthin 2nds maintained their unbeaten record with their 24-0 success at Wrexham.
Winger Jack Cooledge scored the opening try in the corner, with outside half Deian Williams converting.
Williams also added the extras to Huw Cedwyn Parry's try before the break.
Further tries by Williams and Harri Tudor sealed it in the second half.
