THE midweek spot of Superleague action turned out to be tough for a Denbigh side.
The Masons were back in darting action as they headed to the Miners Arms, Brymbo.
It turned out to be a fine night for the home side, who ran out 7-1 winners.
Bradley Roberts averaged 63.96 in supplying the Masons' only bright spot on the night as he defeated Nigel Humphreys 4-0.
Nick Hailes did go close to notching a win for the visitors, only to be edged out 4-3 by Dafydd Edwards.
The player of the night was the Miners' Shane Hayward, who secured a three-dart average of 79.89 in his 4-1 triumph versus David Davies.
It's a busy spell for the Masons, who are back in Superleague action at the Drovers on Sunday.
