MASONS retained the Denbigh and District Winter Darts League title and made it four championships in row. The Wingmen had to settle for runners-up in what was a fantastic end to the season.

The top-two met in a ding dong battle with The Wingmen leading 4-2 and needing the victory to possible overhaul their star-studded opponents.

However it was not to be as Masons fought back to take victory in the last game of the evening and sit top.

In another twist, The Wingmen still had a chance to nick the A-league honours if they could take maximum points in a rearranged fixture against Wings A.

At one point the impossible seemed possible as the title chasers raced into a 5-0 lead, but it was not to be as Wings A took three games to give an end result of 6-3.

Hand Inn conquered all in the B-league as they remained unbeaten to claim the title and promotion to the top tier next winter.
