THREE members of Denbigh Harriers raced the three hills above Penmaenmawr on Tuesday evening.

This is the fifth race in the Tuesday evening fell race series.

It is a three-mile fell-race with steep climbs, through gorse and heather, that feel almost vertical!

Dafydd Evans had a great run in his first race of this series finishing in 26th position out of 105 finishers in a time of 38 minutes and 39 seconds.

Mike Hobday, racing his fifth race in the series, finished in 71st position in a very respectable time of 47 minutes 52 seconds, while Menai Baugh finished in 81st position in 51 minutes 28 seconds, enjoying the fast, grassy downhill paths to finish as the second female over 60.

Denbigh Harrier Katy Baugh had a beautiful day on the hills for the mammoth Sea to Summit Ultra Marathon on Sunday.

This is a 34-mile race with over 8,000 feet of ascent, starting in Prestatyn and following the Offa’s Dyke path along the Clwydian Hills, before finishing on the summit of Cyrn y Brain.

This was Katy’s first ultra distance race and she finished in a fantastic 11th overall and the fourth female in a brilliant time of seven hours and 56 minutes.

At the Conwy parkrun, Simon Nixon crossed the line 27th in 22.07.

Over at the Cirencester parkrun, a time of 26.27 saw Sian Pritchard finish in 49th position.

Meanwhile, fellow Harrier Angela Beedles as in action at the Alderford Lake parkrun, where she clocked 32.02 for 107th position.

Completing the parkrun competitors was Bob Neale at Nova Prestatyn, where he crossed the line in 34th spot in 28.13.
