AWAY day wins were a big feature of Tuesday night's action in the Tillwise Summer League.

Five of the six matches were won by the team on their travels, including a crucial 1-0 outcome for leaders Llanrhaeadr at previously unbeaten Nantglyn.

Osian Audley grabbed the all-important goal to keep Llanrhaeadr a point clear at the top.

The league's top scorer Jake Walker took his tally for the campaign up to seven goals and he was joined on the scoresheet by David Evans.

Henllan retained their title hopes with a 2-1 verdict at Clawddnewydd.

Goals from Sam Jones and David Lawson-Cooke did the trick to give Henllan their third win of 2022.

Tirion Griffiths' fifth goal of the season was Clawdd's consolation.
Just one goal was needed as Llanfair triumphed at Ysceifiog.

It was scored by Matty Pleavin as Huw Price's outfit gained their second victory of the season.

Dan Maclean's last minute goal secured a 3-2 'away' win for Rhewl at Llangynhafal.

Jack Cooledge grabbed the other two in the first half, with Jake Roberts and Iestyn Gadd replying for Llangynhafal.

Bucking the away trend were Caerwys, who defeated Llandyrnog 4-3 in a thriller.

Leon Hughes (2), Ryan Anderson and Kieron Davies sealed the deal for Caerwys, who won for the first time this season.

Eddie Evans, Tommy Hughes and Huw Williams scored the Llandyrnog goals.
