A ONE-SHOT victory was Arfon Jones' reward for a fine round in the gents' Centenary Trophy medal competition at Ruthin-Pwllglas Golf Club.
A total of 46 competed, with 23-handicapped Jones at the top with his nett round of 62.
This was one ahead of Phil Edge, who triumphed in Division Two.
Result: Winner, Arfon Jones 85-23=62 nett.
Division 1: 1, Michael Parton 79-14 = 65; 2, Gareth Williams 73-8=65; 3, Eddie Fitzsimmons 80–14=66.
Division 2: 1, Phil Edge 88-25=63; 2, Rob Winstanley 83-19=64; 3, David Tyrer 88–24=64.
