REVENGE for a heavy first team defeat was Mochdre 2nds' reward.
Hosting St Asaph 2nds in Division Two of the North Wales Cricket League, it was Mochdre who were able to come out on top by a five-wicket margin.
Batting first, St Asaph found themselves being bowled out for 107 in the 31st over.
Dominic Haynes (42) was the leading scorer during the early portion of the afternoon, as Daniel Phillips (4-17) and Jon Davies (2-3) impressed with the ball.
William Opie's 35 not out then proved crucial as Mochdre replied with a winning 112 for five.
David North (3-13) looked to keep the Saints interested.
