IT'S been a great few weeks for the Denbigh and District Darts League table toppers Wings A as they remained unbeaten after week five.

They put Golden Lion A to the sword 9-0 with Dave Cooke and partner Dale Jones producing a great 15-darter in the doubles.

A week later and they handed the Masons a second defeat in a row when the squeezed out a 5-4 victory with plenty of quality on show.

Dale Jones and Paul Davies hit maximums for the Wings club, while Robin Jones and Shane Evans did likewise for the Masons, with Pete Lewis taking out a 102 outshot.

The week before and the Masons were handed a first loss of the campaign as a rampant Golden Lion B secured a 7-2 victory on away turf.

Dark horses the Britannia Inn are in great form as they picked up two more victories.

They downed Railway A 6-3 with Bradley Roberts and Matty Cooke shooting a 15-dart leg in the doubles and Roberts supplied a 149 checkout to finish the match.

Then, a week later, they crushed Golden Lion A 8-1 with Deian Roberts hitting a fantastic 17-dart leg only to be outdone by Brit team mate Nick Hailes who struck a marvellous 13-darter.

White Lion A are riding high in the second tier as got the better of the previously undefeated Wings B.

The 4-3 win saw a great 105 checkout by Lion lady Hayley Turley and a 180 score from Wingman Roy Davies.

The Salusbury Arms were delighted to register a first win of the campaign with a 5-2 success over the Cons Club.

Chris Rumney supplied a great 104 finish for the Tremeirchion outfit whilst Liam Prince notched a 180 for the losing side.

Hand Inn's woes continued as they slumped to two 4-3 reverses courtesy of the Cons Club and White Lion B.
