IT remains a Brit of all right towards the top of a Vale of Clwyd league.
The Britannia picked up another big victory in their pursuit of the Denbigh and District Summer Darts League title.
Many expected a tight scoreline at Golden Lion B, but the Brit had other ideas and pulled off an emphatic 8-1 result to sit pretty at the top of the standings.
Stuart Butler and Dave Davies teamed up in the doubles and finished the game in a spectacular 34 darts, posting legs of 16 and 18 arrows in a majestic display.
Butler also recorded a 180 in his singles match-up, with Goldie captain Rich Martin hitting a maximum for the bewildered hosts.
Wings A smacked in a maximum victory as they whitewashed relegation-threatened Railway B 9-0 to sit joint top with the Brit.
Elsewhere, Golden Lion A pulled off the shock of the campaign so far when they toppled the Masons 5-4 on their own patch.
