THE Britannia are riding high at the top of the Denbigh and District Darts League after another stellar performance.

They entertained the Masons, who had previously dished out the Brit's only defeat, but the home side were too strong on this occasion and recorded a one-sided 8-1 scoreline to sit two points clear at the top of the A-league.

Wings A are still in contention after a home 6-3 victory over Railway A.

In a very competitive game the Railway's Dai 'Daidoes' Davies hit a fine 100 finish.

The Wingmen were also in fine form with Paul Davies supplying 17 and 18-dart legs, a 180 from John Hughes and a 108 checkout by Danny Tinney.

Golden Lion B got back to winning ways with a 7-2 verdict at relegation threatened Railway B.

Former Denbigh Town and Caerwys FC goalkeeper Darren Edwards hit a maximum for the home side, whilst the Lion men's captain Rich Martin cracked in a great 17-dart leg.

In B-league action, White Lion A were defeated for the first time this campaign as they suffered a shock loss to stablemates White Lion B.

Eddie Davies hit a 180 for the A-side.

The Salusbury Arms enjoyed a home success with a tight 4-3 defeat of the struggling Hand Inn.
