WEDNESDAY evening saw a magnificent Denbigh Harriers run in a local fell race on Moel Fenlli.

This five-mile route started from the Druid Inn and ascended 1,200 feet to the summit of Moel Fenlli, round the ramparts of the old fort and back down over the fields to finish in the pub.

First Harrier to finish was Vic Belshaw (21st) in 44.00 closely followed by Katy Baugh (23rd) who had a storming run to finish as the first lady overall in 44.56.

Thursday evening saw Emma Collins run the second race in the Deestriders ORGP series.

This was a slightly longer course of just over four miles, but this didn’t affect Emma, who had a fantastic run to finish as the second lady in 30.11.
