A POWERFUL and harrowing Welsh language production will conclude its tour this week.
Anweledig is Aled Jones Williams’ gripping drama about a woman’s intense battle with depression.
Theatr Fran Wen will complete its tour around Welsh venues at the Stiwt Theatre, Rhosllannerchrugog, near Wrexham on Wednesday, March 27.
Healing is messy. And illness is strangely tidy.
Anweledig is a powerful and harrowing Welsh language production that follows the journey of Glenda, played by Ffion Dafis, as she struggles to deal with this invisible illness.
The audience follows Glenda’s fiercely personal anguish as she confronts the illness and faces life outside of hospital.
How will she, her family and friends deal with the traumatic reality of recovery?
Will she find light at the end of the tunnel?
This final instalment brings closure to the Anweledig series, inspired by medical records from the old North Wales Hospital.
The performance at the Stiwt Theatre gets underway at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £15 for adults, with concessions at £13.
