DENBIGH’S Carnival brought as many as two thousand people to Middle Park this year.
Children and adults alike enjoyed floats, stalls and performances in perfect weather this year.
Mayor of Denbigh, Roy Tickle, said: “All the children thought it was marvelous with all the dancers and the rides and things, it was an absolutely wonderful day and long may it continue.
“The whole three weeks of the Midsummer Festival, everything has been well attended everything I’ve been to has been marvelous.
“The carnival was absolutely magnificent and well attended, well supervised and well planned.
“The field was well laid out and the weather could’ve been better in morning but was amazing in the afternoon.
“The exhibitors and visitors alike were very pleased. In total there had to be 2,000 come through over the course of the day.
“It was a very good attendance, they swarmed onto the field after the floats came through town.”
