A MAN has been charged with robbery following an incident which left staff working at a petrol station "traumatised".
The incident happened at the Shell garage on Rhyl Road, Denbigh, on Sunday night at about 9.30pm.
Cash was stolen during the robbery.
Robert Shane Hughes, 30, of Denbigh, has been remanded in custody and will appear before Caernarfon magistrates tomorrow (Tuesday).
DCI Neil Harrison said: "Following the incident at Shell Service Station, Denbigh on April 29, a local man has been charged with robbery, assault and possession of an offensive weapon."
