A FORMER West End actress living in Denbigh will star in an ITV soap next week.
Tracy Spencer-Jones, who has lived in Denbigh for three years, will appear on Coronation Street on Monday, October 8.
Ms Spencer-Jones was given the part following an audition.
Unable to reveal any information on the show yet, Ms Spencer-Jones said: "I have been acting professionally for over 20 years trained at LIPA and have an agent based in Manchester.
"They [Coronation Street] put me up for the audition and I went along to read for the part and got it.
She added: "I don't know anyone in the soap but they all made me feel very welcome."
Ms Spencer-Jones runs the Denbigh Workshop, a weekly performing arts school for children in Denbigh.
She has previously performed on the West End in productions such as Blood Brothers and Mamma Mia, and appeared on fellow ITV soap Emmerdale and 2016 series Houdini & Doyle.
The episode will run during the show's 8pm-10pm slot.
