Ysgol Borthyn pupils with Tomos Hughes and the new defibrillator

LAST October, pupils from Ysgol Borthyn, in Ruthin, took part in fundraising for the Shocktober campaign to purchase a community defibrillator.
After a CPR workshop from members of SADS UK, the children organised a sponsored run, biscuit sale, poster competition and disco to raise over £700.
With a large donation from Denbighshire Youth Services, the target was reached and the defibrillator has now been delivered by Tomos Hughes, of Achub Calon y Dyffryn.
The children are very proud of this achievement!
