PUPILS have been putting their best foot forward to raise an astonishing sum of money.
Children at Ysgol Borthyn, in Ruthin, have taken part in a fun run to raise funds for some much needed sports equipment.
Will Jones, of Ysgol Borthyn, managed to raise an amazing £250 by using his charm and cheeky smile around town and asking for sponsors.
Iestyn and Wesley also raised a substantial amount, which will really help in purchasing new equipment.
William of AAA Taxis and Jones Bros of Ruthin have also contributed and the school would like to thank them and the rest of the community for supporting the initiative.
In all, the fun run has raised over £1,000.
Ysgol Borthyn's Amy Hewitt said: "We would like to thank our PTA member Rhian Williams for organising this.
"Any support or contributions will be welcomed."
