RESIDENTS in Denbigh have the chance to express their concerns about the town to the police at a public meeting this evening (November 28).

The Denbigh Safety Group (DSG), a community safety group aiming to establish a line of communication between residents, councillors and North Wales Police, will hold its monthly meeting at the Cysgodfa Community Hall in Denbigh.

Rob Parkes, chairman of the DSG, said: "There is a lot of concern in Denbigh about the recent spate of burglaries and policing levels in the town. Our meetings are an opportunity for members of the public to express their views to the police and councillors and help to find solutions to important issues effecting the town.

"I imagine there will be an increased attendance tonight. At times like this we all need to work together to help combat crime in Denbigh."

The meeting will take place from 7.15pm.
