A Denbigh man has been jailed for 14 weeks for driving his father’s car on Friday when he had been banned from the road for three years.
In addition Aled Davies, aged 26, of The Green, was disqualified for 42 months after pleading guilty to driving when banned, drink driving and having no insurance.
David Mainstone, prosecuting at a weekend court at Llandudno, said he’d been spotted by police on the A525 at Trefnant at 12.40am on Friday. His alcohol reading had been 45, the limit in breath being 35.
In June 2014 he’d been convicted of drink-driving and in October 2017 was banned for three years for the same offence.
