North Wales Police are urging motorists to avoid the A4212.
MOTORISTS in the Bala area are being urged to avoid the A4212 road this afternoon.
Police say they have received reports of "difficult driving conditions" on the road from Frongoch to Bala due to snow.
A tweet sent out by the force read: "Reports of difficult driving conditions on the A4212 #FronGoch to #Bala due to snow. Please avoid the area if you can. If you are out in the area please drive according to the conditions and allow plenty of time for your journey. Our teams are out ensuring your safety."
Snow has started to fall in certain parts of North Wales and the weather is expected to worsen throughout the day.
