A man has been killed in a collision between a car and motorcycle on the A5 near Betws-y-Coed.
The incident happened shortly before 11.15am on Monday morning when a Volkswagen Sharan collided with a Honda motorcycle on the A5 Padog Bends.
The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 40’s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Volkswagen suffered minor injuries.
The road remains closed at this time.

Sergeant Jason Diamond of the Roads Policing Unit said: "Our thoughts remain with the man’s family and friends at this difficult time.
"We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have seen either vehicle prior to the collision to come forward.
"Equally anybody who may have been travelling along the A5 near Betws-y-Coed and who may have dash cam is also asked to make contact with us.”
