ALMOST 100 past players of Clwb Rygbi Dinbych attended a special event over the weekend.
Last Saturday, April 13, over 90 past players attended Tegid Phillips' president's day at the club.
Amongst those attending the function were Stephen Evans, John Davies and David Ansell Jones, who had played in the very first match in the club's history.
D Wyn Jones, one of the two coaches from that first ever season in 1977-78, also attended.
Ex-players travelled to the function from all over the UK, while there were also two players who had travelled from further afield to rejoin some of their playing colleagues.
Dyfed Palmer, now lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and Clwyd Edwards, also from Canada, but from Toronto, had flown home especially for the occasion.
