Gorphwysfa Bowls Club.
THE Gorphwysfa Bowls Club organised a very successful open day on Sunday, May 5, to promote their club and the existence of the public crown bowling green at The Centre, on Mwrog Street, in Ruthin.
There had been an open invitation for anybody in the community who was interested in having a go at crown green bowling to go along.
The aim was to encourage greater use of this public facility on a “pay and play” basis, at £3 per hour/ per person, with all equipment provided.
Alternatively, membership of the bowls club is available.
This would include the use of the green at any time.
Anybody interested in either option should contact the club secretary Guy Alford on 01824 703645 or guyalford@tiscali.co.uk
