THE stars of this week's Classroom Call are foundation stage pupils from Denbigh.
St Brigid's School, the voluntary aided state school, caters for children aged three to 19. established in 1939, it is said to be the oldest middle school in Wales.
The school places an emphasis on outdoor education and its most junior cohort have been exploring their recently refurbished outdoor learning area this week. It includes a communal garden and obstacle course which have allowed the children to take part in different activities, including digging, planting, den-building and mud kitchen play. The school teaches through play every day.
