A MAN had to be coaxed out the water after entering a lake fully clothed.
The incident happened at Bala Lake, or Llyn Tegid on Saturday, August 24.
Llyn Tegid is the largest natural lake in Wales.
It is more than four miles long and a mile wide at it's widest point.
A spokesperson from North Wales Fire and Rescue service said: "There was a water incident at Llyn Tegid. We were called at 7.20pm and the incident concluded at 8.52pm.
"There was a man in the water fully clothed.
"He had to be coaxed out the water."
The lake’s water can be very cold and the edges deep in places. Swimming is allowed but permits must be purchased. Swimming is not permitted from boats out on the lake.
