A B*WITCHED singer will be getting rather chilly next month.

Rhyl's Pavilion Theatre will play host to a brand new musical adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's The Snow Queen.

When Kai is abducted to an enchanted frozen palace, his best friend Gerda sets out to rescue him... but will she reach the Snow Queen before it’s too late?

Anton Benson Productions Ltd are proud to present a brand new musical adaptation of the Snow Queen written by Robert Marsden, with music and lyrics by Rebecca Applin.

The production is directed by Kirstie Davis, with musical direction by Rebecca Applin and design by Lara Booth.

B*Witched singer Edele Lynch, who will star as the titular Snow Queen, will also play Grandmother and Robber Lady.

The rest of the cast comprises of Eva McKenna as Gerda; James Hastings as Kai and Crow; Nuala McGowan as Robber Girl and Old Lady; Christopher Jeffries as Hobgoblin, Reindeer and Grandfather; and Benjamin Mowbray as Ensemble.

The tour will stop off at the Rhyl Pavilion on Saturday, October 26 (2 and 5pm).

Producer Anton Benson said: “Audiences can expect a magical re-imagining of this classic Hans Christian Andersen story, filled with infectious melodies, intriguing illusions and a sprinkling of puppetry, all brought to life by an ensemble of actor-musicians.”
