Ben, who works at Travis Perkins, is now looking forward to having the chance to showcase what he can do Stateside.

“I’m looking forward to going up against some of the strongest men in the world,” he said.

“I’m feeling good and training hard so hopefully I can come back with the win and an invitation to the Worlds Ultimate Strongman in Dubai.”

After working 7am to 5pm, Ben then takes a 40 minute trip to the Big Dogs Strongman Division gym just outside Chirk for some intense training which includes completing sandbag runs to boost his fitness.
