A SPORTING facility in the Vale of Clwyd will be closed later this month.
Denbigh Tennis Club's courts will be closed for a week later this month for some essential re-painting work.
The club takes pride from its courts being maintained to a high standard, whereby they have brand new floodlights and court-side fencing, as well as new nets and posts.
Following the winter months, the courts have become slippery and covered in moss due to gradual wear and tear.
The courts will therefore be shut, cleaned and re-painted in brand new colours of blue and green.
The new-look courts will then be officially opened at the club's open day on Saturday, April 25 (10am-1pm).
This will allow the courts to settle into their new colours and the North Wales summer league matches commence ahead of the big event itself.
The open day event will be free of charge and it will include a 10 per cent discount to newly joining members on the day.
