A NATIONAL awareness campaign will take place later this month to inform carers of their rights and help them find the support they are entitled to in order to cope with the pressures of the job.

Carers Rights Day, ran by Carers UK, is there for you whether you are a new carer or have been caring for someone for a while.

Thousands of carers are missing out on potential benefits and support because they do not realise what they are entitled to.

That’s why NEWCIS wants to ensure they support carers through the imminent difficulties that the current climate is causing by inviting unpaid carers to a virtual drop in on Monday November 23.

This will present an opportunity to catch up with other carers and a member of the NEWCIS team for your chance to ask any questions you may have about your rights as a carer.

They will also be sharing lots of useful information on their website and social media platforms throughout the week.

NEWCIS deliver training, one to one support and counselling to unpaid carers in North East Wales (Denbighshire, Flintshire and Wrexham). For further information: 01352 752525 or enquiries@newcis.org.uk.
