THE show will go on at a top Llanrwst art gallery as it prepares to stage a Christmas exhibition to mark the end of the year.

Ffin y Parc Gallery and its popular coffee shop remain open to the public with the annual mixed exhibition, featuring new works by Welsh landscape artist Stephen John Owen and still-life painter James Guy Eccleston.

The exhibition takes place from Sunday, December 6 to Sunday, December 20 when the gallery closes for the festive season.

“This has been a crazy year and we just want to thank everyone for their support these past 12 months,” said gallery owner Ralph Sanders.

“What a way to show our gratitude than with our extensive list of gallery artists

“I am delighted to have new collections of work by both James and Stephen alongside our wonderful mixed Christmas exhibition.”

Ffin y Parc Gallery is a country house set in the Conwy Valley that has promoted the works of a long list of Welsh creators.

It is following Welsh Government procedures around social distancing and closing times, which will give artists the chance to showcase their wintry wonderlands.

Mr Owen, from Caernarfon, said: “I have my own unique style of painting which continues to evolve and develop as I seek inspiration from my surroundings.

“I am fortunate that I have such beauty on my doorstep here in North Wales.

“My Nain used to say to me that God made Wales last of all just to show off, and do you know I think she might have been right!”
