THE ruins of a castle overlooking Llangollen were lit up in red, purple and green on Christmas Eve.
Wrexham-based ASG Entertainments were responsible for the lighting up Castell Dinas Bran ahead of Christmas Day.
They did so with the aim of bringing a bit of joy into the lives of locals after what has been a tough year for many due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
ASG director Scott Cooper said: "Due to lockdowns and so on, Christmas was a little different this year so we decided to light up Dinas Bran for an hour to bring a bit of joy to the local community.
"We'd like to say a big thank you Josh Gowing, James Hunt and Karen Edwards for helping make this possible.
"We hope everyone had the best Christmas they possibly could under the circumstances."
The event was not advertised in advance in order to adhere to Covid-19 guidelines and avoid any gatherings from taking place.
ASG Entertainments are an audio visual company that have lost 99% of their work since the Coronavirus pandemic first struck in March - with no sign of it coming back anytime soon.
They were also responsible for lighting up Castell Dinas Bran back in April in support of the NHS and key workers.
