TWO PEOPLE have been released under investigation after a stolen car was recovered near Llangollen.
North Wales Police confirmed on Sunday that the vehicle was found abandoned after it made off when spotted by officers.
A spokesman said: "Whilst many of you may have been enjoying a lazy Valentine’s morning, we have been out early doors recovering a stolen car from the Western side of the force where it made its way to Llangollen.
"After a sighting from one of our Roads Policing Unit officers the vehicle made off and [was] found abandoned nearby.
"Two males ran from the vehicle - however one happy owner to get their car back.

A spokesman for North Wales Police confirmed that as of Monday morning, two males have been released under investigation.
