It’s hard to imagine that 12 months on from Mother’s Day last year, the day before the entire country went into full lockdown, that life would still be so very different for most of us.

The choice between being responsible and seeing family has been a tough one. For many, a visit to their loved ones has been on hold for some time.

Hugs have been missed, celebrations have been delayed and the simplicity of a chat over a coffee seems a distant memory.

But that doesn’t mean you can’t let them know how you feel.

As Mother’s Day approaches (March 14), we are looking to help you celebrate the special women in your lives, with two lucky ladies - picked at random - to receive a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

We would love for you to share with us just what your mum or the much loved woman in your life, means to you, and why they deserve to be made a fuss of.

Is your mum your hero, the baking queen or someone who puts everyone else first? Or maybe there’s a mother figure in your life that means the world to you.

Celebrate the positive difference they make in your life and share with us why they’re so special, especially as so many will be kept apart by lockdown.

This Mother’s Day, we want to celebrate the region’s amazing women, with tributes from those who love them the most.

To share with us why your mum is special, fill in our Q&A at denbighshirefreepress.co.uk or email arron.evans@newsquest.co.uk by Friday, March 5.

Don’t forget your name, your mum’s name, where you are both from and tell us why they mean the world to you. Please include a photo if you can.
