THE family of an "outstanding" dad who died following a collision have paid tribute to him.

Scott Adam Edwards was 30-years-old and from the Wrexham area.

He died following a collision on the A494 between Llanuwchllyn and Rhydymain on Monday afternoon, police have confirmed.

Mr Edwards' family said: “Scott was an outstanding son to his mother, Wendy Tinsley and father, Phil Edwards.

"He was a much-loved brother to all his siblings.

“Scott was as exceptionally great Dad to his daughter Amaya, who he thought the world of.

"He was a much-loved uncle to his nephews and nieces."

Scott’s partner Faye said: “The day I met you changed my life for the better. I will love you forever. R.I.P. SCOTT.”

North Wales Police have said Mr Edwards' family wish for their privacy to be respected at this time.

Officers continue to appeal for witnesses and are keen on speaking to anybody who may have been travelling along the A494 at around 3.15pm on Monday, May 31 and who may have dash cam footage.

Sergeant Emlyn Hughes of the Roads Policing Unit said: “We’d like to offer our sincerest sympathies to Scott’s family and friends at this difficult time.

“We continue to urge anybody who may have information that could assist with the ongoing investigation to contact us immediately.”
