CYLCH Meithrin Bro Dyfrdwy in Cynwyd, near Corwen, has received a glowing inspection report from the Care Inspectorate, Wales.

In an unannounced inspection in April 2021, the findings reported that “the children are happy and enjoy themselves at this service because they are respected and busy with a range of activities. They are able to make choices and decisions and their interests are valued."

Another part of the report added: "Capable staff care for the children well and give children’s safety high priority. The environment is safe and set out with plenty of activities and areas of play to develop skills. There are successful and strong partnerships with parents, which helps children feel settled and their families supported.”

Responsible Person for the facility, Anne-Marie Lawrence said: "To receive no areas for improvement is a remarkable achievement and everyone involved in our Cylch should be proud of our excellent facility which caters for children from a number of local villages.”

The managers, Anwen Jones and Samathana Styles, also commented that as relatively new managers, taking the helm in September 2020, they couldn't be more proud of their achievements.

They said: “Our Cylch Meithrin is growing month by month and that is down to our dedicated staff and team. We are delighted!"
