A POLICE investigation is underway after a man died following an incident in St Asaph yesterday evening (Wednesday).
Shortly before 5pm North Wales Police said it received a report that an assault had taken place outside an address in Llys Clwyd, St Asaph.
A man, aged in his 50’s, has been arrested and is currently in police custody, police have said.
Police said no further details on the deceased are available at this time.
Detective Chief Inspector Emma Naughton of North Wales Police said: “Our thoughts remain with the man’s family and friends at this difficult time.
“We are satisfied that this was an isolated incident, however we are appealing to anybody who may have been in the vicinity of Llys Clwyd yesterday afternoon and who may have witnessed the incident, to contact us immediately.”
