THERE have been 481 new cases of coronavirus in Wales, latest figures show.
Data released by Public Health Wales on July show that 223 of the new cases of the virus were in North Wales.
Wrexham and Flintshire had the most cases.
They can be broken down to:
- Anglesey 23
- Conwy 26
- Denbighshire 33
- Flintshire 57
- Gwynedd 22
- Wrexham 62
The infection rate in Wales as a whole is currently 66.5 cases per 100,000 members of the population.
The average rates in all local authority areas in North Wales are higher than the national average.
They can be broken down as such:
- Anglesey 78.5
- Conwy 98.1
- Denbighshire 131.7
- Flintshire 157.6
- Gwynedd 98.7
- Wrexham 139.8
