WREXHAM fans have been wishing many happy returns to the club's co-chairman's wife Kaitlin Olson.

Rob McElhenney, who in partnership with Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds completed the takeover of the club in February, posted a candid photo of Kaitlin Olson on Twitter to celebrate her big day (ok, technically it was yesterday).

He tweeted: "Happy birthday to my beautiful lady!"

Rob and Kaitlin met on the set of record-breaking comedy series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - the forthcoming series will seal its place as the longest running live-action sitcom in American TV history.

They married in 2008 and have two sons, Axel and Leo Grey.

Kaitlin's birthday, we would never reveal a lady's age, coincided with her return to the It's Always Sunny set to begin filming the fifteenth series of the show.

Born in 1975, Kaitlin plays Dee Reynolds who is often mocked by the rest of 'The Gang' for her resemblance to a bird.

This led to Wrexham AFC tweeting: "Happy Bird-day!"

As well as playing Sweet Dee on It's Always Sunny, Olson headlined comedy series The Mick and Flipped as well as making scene-stealing appearances in Curb Your Enthusiasm, Space Force, and movies like The Heat.
