TO mark International Dog Day last Thursday (August 26), we asked our readers to send in pictures of their beloved mutts.
And thankfully, you responded in droves, with more than an incredible 800 comments across our two Facebook posts appealing for photos.

From rescue dogs from Thailand, to smiling, happy pooches, to furry friends enjoying the sand and sunny skies at the beach, it certainly made for a delightful range of snaps of man's best friends.
