DENBIGH residents are being urged to remain vigilant following a spate of thefts from vehicles in the area overnight.

A warning from North Wales Police issued on Tuesday (September 7), stated that incidents had taken place on the Colomendy Industrial Estate.

Officers added that catalytic converters have been targeted.

A statement from the force read: "Reminder to all businesses to ensure where possible, vehicles are parked securely in locked compounds, CCTV is working and positioned to afford a good view of vehicles and all vehicles all locked and secure irrespective of whether they are parked within compounds.

"Also worthy of mention that Catalytic Converters have also been targeted in these incidents, so for all car owners, please ensure vehicles are parked so as to make access underneath the vehicle difficult; in view of CCTV where possible and consider additional security such as Cat Locks or Cat Clamps."
