TELEVISION stars Carol Vorderman and Michelle Keegan have been enjoying the sunshine in Wales - but is it the last warm weather we will see this year?

Both Carol and Michelle shared photos of themselves on Instagram this week.

Carol, author and former Countdown presented, has been keeping followers regularly updated as she spends the summer in Pembrokeshire.

She shared photos of paddleboarding and kayaking, leading to fellow celebrities such as Alan Carr and Susanna Reid praising her for "living her best life".

But this week, Carol, who was brought up in Rhyl and Prestatyn, said she thought the summer might be coming to an end.

The 60-year-old posted a photo wearing sunglasses and a bikini, saying: "The last days of sunshine perhaps?

"Awww I've loved this summer....one of the best ever."

Meanwhile, Michelle Keegan has been spotted shooting the new series of Sky hit series Brassic in Abergele.

On Instagram on Thursday, she posted a short video of herself using a portable fan to keep cool while filming.

She said: "Putting in work for a bit of a breeze."

The Brassic cast have been spotted in various locations in Conwy in recent weeks, with filming taking place near the river in Llanfair TH and at a shop in Betws-yn-Rhos.

Michelle has become a key part of the comedy drama series, which is set in the fictional northern town of Hawley. It is centred around a group of hapless friends as they make their way through a life of crime.

The show is inspired by the childhood experiences of co-creator and former This Is England star Joe Gilgun, who plays Vinny.

It seems that Carol may be right about the end of summer.

The Met Office forecast for next week is cloudy, with some sunny intervals, with temperatures reaching a peak of 18C on Tuesday.
