NFU Cymru members in Clwyd are invited to the first in-person county meeting since the beginning of the pandemic.

The meeting, which will take place at Brookhouse Mill, Denbigh on Thursday, September 30 at 7.30pm, will feature guest speaker Tori Morgan, NFU EU Exit and International Trade Advisor as well as Wyn Evans, NFU Cymru Livestock Board Chairman.

Members will hear from Tori about the current international trade picture, including information on new or prospective deals with Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Mexico, the US, CPTPP, India and of course the EU.

She will also discuss the newly agreed Dairy Export Strategy.

The meeting will also be an opportunity to host the county’s Annual General Meeting and elect county officeholders and delegates for the coming term.

NFU Cymru Clwyd County Chairman, Dewi Jones said: “For too long we have waited for the opportunity to meet in person, and I am extremely pleased that for our first face-to-face meeting we will here from Tori and Wyn.

"We will also have updates from our commodity board representatives.

"I am looking forward to seeing you all there and catching up on the last 18 months.”
