DENBIGH Ladies were defeated 20-0 in their latest cup match - but remain in positive spirits.
They took on a ruthless Llandudno side in the Adran Trophy (Group 2 North).
Tudno had nine different scorers on the day with 17-year-old Ella Jones scoring seven goals.
Denbigh Ladies had a number of players returning from maternity, and another few playing out of position on the day.
Denbigh Ladies manager Ellen Lawson remained positive and 'proud' following the heavy defeat.
She said: "To think we only had 7 girls available on Friday, I can't thank the ladies enough for re-arranging their weekends to making sure they could play for us today.
"Girls returning after maternity leave and lots out of position, especially Ffion Griffiths going in goal for us.
"We're proud the girls played with great sportsmanship until the 90th minute. It was a tough game today, we need to keep battling and focus now turns to the next game."
