More than four in five adults in Denbighshire have received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine, figures reveal.
Public Health Wales data shows 68,733 people aged 18 and over have been given both doses of a vaccine up to November 7 – 84% of the area's adults.
They make up part of the 71,555 people who have been given at least one jab – 87% of the over-18 population.
Figures also show 1,551 16 and 17-year-olds in Denbighshire (69% of the age group) and 1,875 12 to 15-year-olds (36%) had received a first dose by then.
The data on second doses for each age group in the area shows:
- 16 to 17 – 562 administered (25%)
- 18 to 29 – 9,158 administered (69%)
- 30 to 39 – 7,890 administered (70%)
- 40 to 49 – 9,324 administered (81%)
- 50 to 54 – 6,497 administered (88%)
- 55 to 59 – 6,926 administered (90%)
- 60 to 64 – 6,289 administered (92%)
- 65 to 69 – 5,794 administered (94%)
- 70 to 74 – 6,435 administered (96%)
- 75 to 79 – 4,593 administered (96%)
- 80 and over – 5,827 administered (96%)
Across Wales, 2.2 million people have had both doses, equating to 82% of the over-12 population, while 2.5 million (89%) have had at least one dose and 528,239 people (19%) have had a booster vaccination.
The rates have been updated using recently released 2020 mid-year population estimates from the Office for National Statistics.
