ELECTED representatives were able to scrum on down recently.
Mayor Cllr Heather Williams and deputy mayor Cllr Menna Jones were delighted to be invited to Clwb Rygbi Rhuthun’s patrons day at Lon Fawr, Ruthin.
This day was used to help celebrate the continued success of the club and to receive thanks for Ruthin Town Council’s sponsorship of the rugby balls this season.
Cllr Williams said, “It was a great opportunity to find out more about the amazing work the dedicated volunteers do, providing such amazing opportunities for our community.”
Groups and organisations in Ruthin are welcome to apply for financial assistance from Ruthin Town Council.
