OVER 1,500 new cases of Covid-19 have been recorded in North Wales in the latest figures released by Public Health Wales (PHW).
Statistics released by PHW on Sunday, January 9, show that a total of 8,923 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed throughout Wales.
1,517 of those were in North Wales and these can be broken down county-by-county to:
Anglesey - 121
Conwy - 300
Denbighshire - 176
Flintshire - 352
Gwynedd - 167
Wrexham - 401
Sadly, a further 8 deaths have also been recorded in the latest round of figures, meaning that a total of 6,634 deaths suspected to be linked to Covid-19 have been confirmed since records began.
Figures also show that 1,695,590 people in Wales have had their Covid-19 booster jab.
