From schools to workplaces, people across the region have been taking part since its creation in the mid 1980s.

Emphasis has always been on laughs, and getting into the spirit of things has taken on many forms.

For some it has been dressing up, finished off with the iconic Red Nose.

Others have taken on sponsored events, from walks and shaves to baths of baked beans!
