COULD you make a big difference for a child’s life in Denbighshire?

Foster Wales Denbighshire are opening the doors to those who want to know more about fostering children in the county.

An information sharing and welcome event will be held at Rhyl Pavilion on May 26 from 6.30 until 8pm.

The Foster Wales Denbighshire team will be on hand to chat to those interested in becoming foster carers.

Also at the event will be local foster carers who are ready to share their experiences about what it feels to offer a warm and nurturing environment to children from the county who need support.

Rhiain Morrlle, head of children services, said: “The team is dedicated to working with foster families to make a big difference to the lives of children in Denbighshire.

"Fostering can mean something different to each child we care for, there are different types of fostering and different roles our carers can play and you can find out more at this event. Importantly, each one can make a huge, life-long positive impact.

“In Denbighshire we celebrate the diversity and uniqueness of all our foster families.

"That’s why, if you decide to become a foster carer your own circumstances can't be compared to anyone else's.
