A ROYAL display in the Vale of Clwyd enjoyed a hugely successful opening.

Colin Edwards, who has met the Queen at least 150 times, has put together a hand-picked selection of his photographs of the Queen on display in the Parish Rooms of St Peter’s Church, in Ruthin.

Last Monday saw the official opening of the exhibition, which will continue at the site until this Saturday, June 18.

There are 170 photos of the Queen on show in the Parish Rooms at St Peter’s Church.

Mr Edwards last saw the Queen in Chester in 2018.

He usually hands her one of the photographs he’s taken of her previously and she has remarked how good his photographs are and he regularly receives letters of thanks.
