For the first time since 2019, the carnival returned to the calendar and it proved to be a popular and successful occasion.

A heavy morning downpour had stopped just minutes before the parade, which began at Park Road car park.
The carnival procession then proceeded up Clwyd Street, over St Peter's Square, down Well Street and on to Mold Road.
The carnival field was located at Ruthin School.
